Metroline underground approved from Swargate to Katraj area in Pune. Central Government is specially looking on improving Mass transportation in cities. Looking towards the developing and growing population in pune, metro will help citizens to move from one place to another in less expenses and less time. Metro has been started in some area of Pune few days ago. The Metro was inaugurated by the Prime Minister of our country Hon’ble Shri. Narendra Modi. Metro was inaugurated during the tenure of former Mayor of Pune Hon. Murlidhar Mohol. The response was overwhelming from the people present at the inauguration.
Swargate to Katraj will also be a metroline connectivity. Guardian Minister of pune Hon’ble Ajit Pawar and the Mahavikas Aghadi government have sanctioned a metroline from swargate to katraj to be constructed under the ground.
For the last several years, only the Swargate to Katraj metro line, should be constructed underground or elevated (above the ground), has been the subject of fruitless discussions. Hence, Hon’ble Deputy Chief Minister of Maharashtra and Guardian Minister of Pune Ajit Pawar paid special attention to this work and immediately approved this metro route. Sources also said that by the year 2027 the work of Swargate to Katraj Metro is expected to be completed.
The Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) leaders of pune city celebrated on the decision and approval of constructing metroline underground from swargate to katraj. As it became possible through the efforts of Hon’ble Deputy Chief Minister of Maharashtra and Guardian Minister of Pune District Hon’ble Ajit Pawar and Maha Vikas Aghadi Government. The much awaited Swargate to Katraj subway route was sanctioned so NCP party leaders celebrated by distributing sweets (pedhe) to the citizens.
