Success of Chakri Uposhan (fast) of NCP leader Santosh Nangare in Parvati area of pune city.
The fast started on behalf of Parvati Assembly constituency for various demands. The chakri uposhan (fast) was stopped after the demands were accepted. The movement was started on Monday 09/05/2022 under the leadership of NCP Parvati area Santosh Nangare. On the evening of the second day of the fast, Assistant Commissioner Shri. Avinash Sakpal, Joint Commissioner Shri. Ganesh Sonune, Bibwewadi Regional Office Health Head Mr. Vikram Kathwade and Swargate Water Supply Department J.E. Mr. Naikanavare and Mrs. Anjusha Reddy agreed in writing. After that Social worker and leader of NCP of parvati area Santosh Nangare and all activists and supporters released chakri uposhan (fast) on 10/5/2022 at 8.00 pm.

Accepted Demands

1) Written assurance to supply water at proper pressure in the colony as well as in the society areas.
2) Written assurance that waste from all wards will be picked up on time.
For the remaining two demands, the officers of the concerned department promised to hold a joint meeting with the Commissioner of Pune Municipal Corporation and concerned officers.

Social worker and leader of NCP Santosh Nangare, Working President Vipul Mysurkar, Women President Mrinalini Vani, Yogesh Pawar, Manthan Jagde, Shashikala Kumbhar, Usha Ghogre and others had went on a hunger strike.
City President of NCP Shri Prashant Jagtap, State Spokesperson Ankush Kakade, Former President Ravindra Malwadkar, State Representative Bhagwanrao Salunkhe, City Spokesperson Pradip Deshmukh, Mahesh Shinde, Ashwini Kadam and others visited the spot of chakri uposhan (fast).
